I am looking for a good home for my gelding. He is green broke to ride with an easy-going personality. I have primarily taken him trail riding with Western tack. He trail rides well with other, he did act silly going onto the asphalt but once the other rider led him over onto the road he has been fine since, He has been ridden in an arena several times and is good. The only reason I’m selling Him is because I no longer have time to train him. He deserves someone who will complete his training and give him something to do. Once he is finished, I believe he would make a great lesson, trail, or hunter horse. Trigger is level-headed and very smart and eager to learn. More whoah than go. However, he is GREEN so he will need a confident and skilled rider. Trigger loads well and has wonderful gaits. He needs to be finished from WTC transitions as he gets confused and crow hops but once on the correct lead he is good, He is exceptional to Catch he comes when called lowers his head sticks his nose in the halter, Great to lead can be little pushy but easily corrected with just a wiggle of the rope, he loves being with people and enjoys being pampered Excellent to Bridle lowers head and takes bit easily, stands to be saddled, great for his feet he is barefoot and gets trimmed every 6 weeks, he stands tied, stands to be mounted & dismounted from mounting steps, He is so handsome he moves beautifully I just don’t have time to keep working on riding him, We have 3 other horses and he is just too handsome to be sitting around, I believe he would love to do jumping or fox hunting once he gains his confidence he just needs the fine tuning he will be a show stopper! Please if you don’t have time to finish him please don’t ask to come see him he needs a job and I already had someone come out to see him after explaining he needs finished and he does crow hops when asked to lope that being said if this scares you please don’t come see him as person was told numerous times then gets on him and gets right off of him, she’s a trainer then she lets him get away with it. So Please if he isn’t going to fit into your training program then don’t waste either of our time please. He was sent to a trainer for 30 days and she did not work at all with him like she was arranged and paid to do he actually came back with more problems than when he was sent. He is doing better and has been corrected since his return. He does not like to be left in his stall 24 hours a day like he was at the trainer and not taken out to be worked with so if you don’t intend to ride him and let him out on pasture then once again don’t reply to my ad, I will be very picky on where he goes. He is very good in the arena at just walk & Trot also enjoys taking it slow on the trails he isn’t a plug on the trails he is alert and has energy but needs more desensitizing work with walking across the asphalt and going through narrow walkways. He is sound and an easy keeper. all
