Beautiful mare bred by a (now deceased sadly) dear friend Susan Antonine Tweedale-Hill. Born in 2018 from her gorgeous buckskin RBV mare Sabrina & gorgeous chesnut (with chrome) stud Rio de Jaime. Old long-living & healthy sire line as well as fantastic movement & agility. Susan found herself in hospital & many tried to save the horses she so loved that were left behind, & while I was originally just going to purchase a weanling colt from her before tragedy struck, wound up bringing several home to ensure they were well cared for & give some piece of mind. I brought Ria home in hopes she would grow an extra hh, but alas stayed fairly petite. We were also (pleasantly) surprised w/an early (but very lovely) foal as she had been covered by a stallion that had escaped his stall while quaranting in the barn before released w/the mares at a later date. She had a false heat some months later, thus the time line being a few months off. This was her second foal, the first being the year prior w/Susan's (sole) palomino stallion-a beautiful cremello filly, then a big stunning chesnut colt for us. She makes a fantastic mother & is very sweet once she warms up to you. Is VERY green-broke & really needs someone who has plenty of Peruvian Paso breed specific experience as she will need that special touch after having gone through so much in such a short period of time. The older herd mare I brought home w/her had to be PTS last fall due to severe leg issues(arthritis & hooves left unattended to for far too long causing strain), followed by a bad accident to the colt a couple weeks later resulting in his death. Her progress regressed a bit & she became very herd bound to my old gelding...but they hate each other so can't be in the same pasture. Thus the reason I need to find her the perfect home. She's 100% sound, moves stunningly & throws beautiful babies. She's currently unregistered due to all the events w/Susan's hospitalization & subsequent death, but per what I was told, can still be registered if desired(both parents are registered). I hate to see her go (I'd kept the colt for myself in hopes he grew a bit bigger than her)after losing the colt last summer & deciding to keep her to train & show...then foal again down the rd. Unfortunately life took a turn & now I have a baby & just myself...so need to downsize. She is $3k, or $2500 if willing to do a contract where I reserve a future right to breed her to stallion of my choosing(solely responsible for all associated costs) at my ranch or on-site wherever she goes, or first right of purchase to a purebred planned foal bred on-site.
