**For Sale: Wonk - A Kind and Versatile 5-Year-Old Gelding**
Meet Wonk! Standing tall at 16.1 hands and impressively wide, this 5-year-old gelding has a heart as big as his stature. Wonk was bred in California and ran on the track in Wyoming, sired by Seperate Interest and out of a dam by One Famous Eagle.
When we purchased him as a three-year-old, Wonk had a knee chip. After some time off and x-rays by Dr. Clark, we are happy to report that the chip is now gone and Wonk is sound. Due to his soft soles, we have put pads on him for added comfort.
Wonk is a true versatile gem. He has been ridden in the mountains, packed salt, been branded on, and roped slow cattle out of the box. Despite his varied experiences, he has a gentle and friendly nature, often behaving more like a Great Dane than a horse. He loves people, is easy to catch, and always wants to be your friend.
We are selling Wonk because he needs a slower-paced environment than we can provide. He can get anxious and hop up (not buck), and at 16.1 hands, it can be a lot to manage. However, if you are looking for a kind horse with a lot of try and a gentle disposition, Wonk is the one for you. He just needs a bit of patience and a slower pace.
Our family needs more finished horses, but Wonk has all the potential to be a wonderful companion and partner for the right person.
