“Holly” is a 5yr old, 14.3 Mare. Here is a true all around who can be reliable in every discipline. If you are looking for a fun and reliable horse, both pleasure, trail, and ring riding— here she is! Holly is very in your pocket and very laid back!
In the barn, Holly stands tied on crossties. She has no bad habits in a stall. She can live inside, or stay out 24/7. She can go out with a mixed herd without issue. Catching her in a big pasture is a breeze! She will follow you like a dog! Holly is currently pastured with goats and other farm animals and has no issues with dogs. A doll to be groomed, bathed, tacked, loads and trailers great, and she was wonderful for the vet! Holly is barefoot and sound!
On the trails, Holly is very brave and willing to cross anything that you ask. She has been used to pony young horses along on trail rides. Crosses water without issue! She is not spooky on the trail. The worst reaction she’s ever had is not wanting to go. She has great work ethic and can go out trail riding alone or with buddies. This could be your next camping and overnight trail buddy. Traffic safe and familiar with farm machinery! Take this girl on a weekend getaway and enjoy! Holly goes western, english, and bareback. She is easy going and NOT eager to go too fast. She is more woah than go, but is happy to go when asked and can have a ground covering trot once you are going! She is not the kind of horse who needs ridden consistently to be a calm girl. She’s more woah than go. Cantering is not her favorite job, but she has a lovely canter and will pick it up if asked! However, she’d rather have an owner who wants something safe that isn’t going to run off. She is extremely willing to trot over small jumps and will gently trot over logs and ground poles if asked!
If you want to walk, trot, canter, jog, lope, or jump— this girl does it all. She is also a great husband horse and can be seen in her video carting a man around with no issue. Holly is unfazed by an unbalanced rider and does not react to shifting of weight. This girl is built right and looks just as lovely carrying a full grown man as she does a five foot woman. Her gaits are very comfortable and she is a beautiful mover as well!!
She is up to date on farrier, worming, health certificate, coggins, and vaccines. This girl has the world to offer her new best friend! Shipping can be arranged anywhere and even negotiated into price.
