Cloud 9’s Black Magic “Shazam”
Cloud 9’s Black Magic is a gorgeous 2011 Friesian Sporthorse mare. Shazam is 50% Friesian and 50% American Warmblood.
Standing 15.2h, she is easy, safe, and great for any level rider. No groundwork is required. You can saddle up and get on. She’ll pick you up for mounting from anything and stand like a rock on a loose rein for you to get on. She’s very well-behaved on the ground.
She’s excellent at building someone’s confidence on trails or in the arena. She loves to jump. She’s very brave, consistent, and dependable.
She’s currently schooling first-level dressage. She’s very easy to sit, with a nice floaty trot and smooth canter. Equally easy to go, and woah, she’s not hot, not a kick ride, and she has a great work ethic. Nice lateral work, easy side pass. 100% sound, no health issues, vices, or maintenance. Barefoot and gets her feet trimmed, standing ground tied with an angle grinder.
Shazam is very versatile; she Rides English, Western, and Bareback. She carries a flag and drags tarps and logs. She crosses water and bridges with no problem. She has gone on long trail rides and camping. She has been ridden on the beach and in the ocean. Clips, ties, trailer loads, and hauls are great. She is perfect for a bath and likes to drink out of the water hose. She was born and raised on my Ranch and spent a few years teaching beginners how to ride at a youth ranch.
She’s Honest, Tolerant, Safe, and athletic. She’s a lovely all-around girl, not Spooky. She’s a proven broodmare, has one foal, and is a great mother. She’s trick-trained and will lie down on request. I’m happy to answer any questions and chat more about Shazam!
