Stirling is forward, responsive, in your pocket and brave. He has been in professional, age-appropriate, training for four years; has a classical dressage foundation and loves liberty work. Has been lightly shown in trail, Western dressage (scores in the 70s in Open, Intro classes), and bareback equitation. He has not been overridden; set up for longevity and soundness. He would do well with a confident intermediate amateur who is working with a trainer. Stirling is often ridden in fields/trails/obstacle courses – can ride out alone or in a group. Has exposure to wildlife, bicycles, golf carts, tarps. Has been hauled; he loads, bathes, clips, stands for the farrier. Has been kept in a stall, shed rows, and a dry lot paddock - he wants to be outside. He is barefoot. He has the Gypsy disposition –wants to be your friend, will follow you around a paddock/pasture, greets you at the gate, loves bathes & pampering & snuggles. Has been turned out in a variety of herds with mares and geldings – he falls middle of the pecking order and is protective of “his mare.” He can get strong; it’s short lived and is manageable if you have the presence of mind to answer it. He cribs – wears a collar. Registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society. Purchased from Bandera Vanner Ranch/Bridlewood Training Center (TX) in 2020. I have lots of pictures and videos available.
