Super hard decision to rehome my first and favorite horse. Paxton was started as a 2yo at CalPoly and has largely been brought along by professional trainers, with a slow and steady progression to benefit long-term soundness. He is good-minded, soft and responsive under saddle. Athletic and will benefit from an intermediate or advanced rider looking to ride often and develop their perfect horse. That being said, I am able to walk my complete beginner husband around on him bareback :)
I believe he would do great in any Western discipline, especially cow work or ranching, but I have an English riding background and with his smooth, balanced stride he could also make a very nice hunter.
