Trickie is ready to find a new home! He was born and raised in Swisher, IA. The trainer at his owner's home started him last year. He came here in April of 2024 to get hauled out and exposed to more.

Trickie is incredibly friendly and easy to catch. He wants to be in your pocket and loved on. He's the low man in the herd but gets along with any horse that wants to be his buddy. He's currently getting a grass/alfalfa mix of hay and no grain.

He's been consistent w/t/c under saddle in Western and English tack. He's been hauled out to different places for lessons, a clinic, and trailheads. Trickie has had a handful of different people ride him while he's been here, and he's been well-behaved for all. He's been ponied out and has carried pack saddles. He's loaded into 3 different types of horse trailers with no issues.

I've started to ride him outside more this summer, and he's been doing well with cars passing us and farm equipment. Trickie is more whoa than go.

Good for vet and farrier. He's not had shoes on but has been well behaved for trims.

I think he'd be a very cute dressage or jumping prospect.
He's recently been introduced to poles and low cross rails. Trickie seems to enjoy it and is more forward moving when he has a task.
