Mater is a 17.2hh draft cross. In his past, he has done eventing, dressage, foxhunting, and cross country. He is sweet and calm, and loves being around people. He is unbelievably sane, no spook or buck, and is by far the BEST horse I have ever owned. He can take year long breaks and come back like he has been ridden regularly. He will hack out by himself and doesn't spook. He is great with traffic, other animals, people, noises, etc. This horse, while talented and capable, can also be ridden by children/beginners. I have used him for lessons and had kids as young as four on him. He is sweet and gentle and loves attention and being ridden. He is a gem, and is only being sold due to my health issues. I can no longer give him the time he deserves. He has great teeth, has never been lame since I bought him in 2010, requires no supplements, and has never had colic. He does require shoes.
