Rosa is an Azteca mare and a wonderful trail horse. She is about 13 and has had one baby. She will go out alone or with a crowd.
She is good for the farrier. She wears shoes on all 4’s. Her feet are chippy, and she needs shoes.
She trailers very well. She will get right in and will stand quiet. She does not unload well. She will back out at a high rate of speed. If you let her turn and walk out, she does very well.
She has done a lot of clinics; some cow shorting and has done well. She does not like arena work at all. She also does not like to canter. She will trot all day long though. She has the best jog.
She has no health issues and is very good for the vet.
She is easy to catch and loves to be worked with and groomed. She can be temperamental with you for the first few rides but once you have gained her trust, she will be the best girl for you. She does require a rider with confidence and a calm hand.
