Paso Fino gelding, approximately 15 years old 14h. He is not registered but both parents were registered Paso Fino. He has had the last few years off and is being sold as a project. He needs a restart/refresher and I do not have the time for him.

He is very sensitive/reactive and needs consistency and patience. He has high brio and does well with consistent working.

In prior years he has been a great trail horse and loves to cover ground! He rarely spooks on the trail, but will spook/react to stimulus on him(saddle bags, ropes flapping, new saddle). He is a natural with traffic, bridges, and water. He has been desensitized but has a tendency to revert with time off. When he is “hot” he does not want to walk, he wants to gait.

Trailers well, and good with his front feet. He generally is good with his back feet but will pull his foot away if he is hot. He can be difficult to catch in a large field. He gets along great with other horses and is an easy keeper.

He responds well to natural horsemanship techniques and does not respond well to being “cowboyed”. He is very loyal and is willing, just needs someone with time for him and patience. He would make a fun project or permanent addition for someone.

He does well alone or with other horses. Asking $1500 or best offer.
