On his sire side Sports a Glory is a son of Docs Hickory out of a daughter of Sport Model. He was a proven producer of NRHA and AQHA performers, having 68 AQHA points himself. He had great success in team penning and working cow horse. Other notables on his papers include Peppy San Badger, Doc Bar, and Colonel Freckles.

Rocky is ready to go in any direction you please. He stands quietly for the farrier and a bath, and leads respectably. He has been hauled to multiple horses events including a couple Stock Horse of Texas shows. He is a very consistent and easygoing gelding that wants to please. He has a performance horse start with consistent speed and steering at the walk, jog, and canter. He moves his shoulders and hips respectively and will follow his nose until asked otherwise. He has the foundation for balance and will finish out nicely as a performance stock horse, head horse, or penning horse. Rocky is up to date on coggins, vaccination, deworming, and teeth. Special consideration will be shown to those that wish to keep him in the program as a performance stock horse for the 2025 show season!
