***PM FOR VIDEOS*** Guppy is a 15-year-old grade Quarter Horse mare who has been my partner and my pride for the past 10 years. From the moment I met her, I knew she was something special. Guppy was more than just a horse; she became my best friend, my confidant, and my champion during my high school years. Together, we competed in countless shows, and she helped me win numerous awards and trophies. I credit her with getting me through high school, not just because of the success we had in the ring, but because of the bond we shared outside of it. Guppy and I clicked from the start—she was super easy to work with, and we developed a relationship based on mutual trust and understanding. One of the things that makes Guppy so remarkable is her heart of gold. She’s the kind of horse who gives her all, every time. Whether we were in the show ring or out on the trails, Guppy always put in her best effort. But what really stood out to me about Guppy was her speed. When I started showing her, I noticed she had a natural affinity for it. While she was great in pleasure classes, it was her speed that truly caught my eye. Guppy has the brains, the personality, and the attitude needed for speed events, and she absolutely loves to run barrels. She’s consistently run 2D and 3D times, and I know she has the heart to go even faster. With the right rider, she could easily reach her full potential in barrel racing. But Guppy isn’t just a one-trick pony. She’s also wonderful with kids, and she’s participated in peewee events with them. Guppy’s gentle nature and bombproof temperament make her a great horse for young riders. She’s done rodeos, including goat tying, roping, and cow herding, and she enjoys hitting the trails where she can go all day without missing a beat. Guppy is a flashy, safe, and versatile horse who could excel in any direction you choose to take her. Unfortunately, I’m heading off to college, and as much as I wish I could, I can’t bring her with me. I hate to sell Guppy because she’s been my girl for so long, and if keeping her was an option, I would do it in a heartbeat. But she deserves to be with someone who can give her the time and attention she needs. Guppy has been sitting for a month, but she’s ready to be legged back up and get running. I’m in no rush to move her or the other horses, and I’ll be very picky about where she goes. I want to make sure she ends up in a home where she’ll be loved and appreciated just as much as she has been with me. Guppy is the kind of horse who loves to run, so if you’re looking for a speed horse, she’s the one for you. But if speed isn’t your thing, then Guppy might not be the best fit. She’s a horse who thrives on competition and needs someone who shares her passion for it. Standing between 14.3 and 15.1 hands high, Guppy is barefoot, up to date on her vaccines, hooves, and shots. Her teeth are due to be floated soon, and she’s ready for her next adventure. In summary, Guppy is a one-of-a-kind horse
