With a sweet soul, and looks to match, “Sadie” is ready to find her next partner. At 14.3hh and 8 years old, this girl has a whole life ahead of her.
In the barn, Sadie stands quietly behind her stall gaurd with no drama. She will stand on crossties, or ground tie, all day long while you tack her up, or dote on her. Sadie is never marish and gets along with everyone. She is turned out with mares, geldings, and a mini cow, with no herd bound tendencies at all. Sadie steps right on the trailer with ease, and gets off acting calm and collected no matter where you take her. She’s great for the farrier, dentist, vet, mane pulling, clipping, bathing and whatever else you ask of her. She has no vices or bad habits. Sadie is a real pleasure to be around, she’s so easy.
On the trails, this brave girl is steady and reliable. You could put an advanced beginner on her and have no worries. Sadie leads, follows, will go in the middle, or ride off alone. She’s a perfect happy medium of go and woah. She rides in a snaffle whether she’s in the ring or on the trails. Sadie will go through any obstacle you throw her way. Ditches, banks, rocky terrain, bridges, tunnels, steep hills, logs, water, you name it she does it, she is super handy on the trails. Sadie goes western or english with no preference. She will hold back, or go away from the group with no drama. Sadie doesn’t mind if a horse runs up too close behind her, she would do great at ponying young horses. You can mount her from the ground, a picnic table, or a log, she will stand perfectly still. She is neither barn, or trailer sour.
In the ring, Sadie will walk, trot, and canter. She is learning to collect herself in the bridle and move off of your leg. Sadie could go any direction you want, she takes up enough leg for an adult, but is small enough for a kid. She has a great brain and a ton of potential and is ready to be finished your own way. She has given beginner lessons and never takes advantage of her rider. Sadie can be ridden on a loose rein, or a tight rein, she doesn’t get opinionated or dirty. She has no buck, bolt, spin or rear. Sadie is a straight forward and honest mare who knows the word “woah”. What you see in the video is what you get. She is green over fences, but doesn’t have a dirty stop, she just needs direction. Sadie gives her 100% all the time for her rider. She aims to please and is so much fun to ride, whether out and about, or in the ring. Sadie is the same horse whether she’s ridden every day, or if she sits for a week.
