Hawkeye is a diamond in the rough! Wearing a saddle and bridle, great ground manners and training, ready to be backed (will be started u.s. in next few weeks). Does side pass, shoulder in, haunches in while in hand. He’s an eager beaver to please you. Introduce him to new concepts and he learns quickly. Just started long line driving. Will update videos as he progresses. Get him now before price rises with training. I see him as the perfect Working Equitation horse Driving, or all around fun horse. PSSM1 negative.
Update: 9-13-24 Hawkeye has now had a rider up a couple short walk rides. Walks across bridges, steps into tires, and is very good at knowing where his feet are. I also think he would enjoy games. He carries himself like an Iberian type horse. Slated to attend a confidence and horsemanship clinic the 5/6 of October 2024. He would be the perfect horse for someone wanting to do some training of their own and just plain have fun playing and trying new tasks.
