Beautiful 16 yr old Arabian mare. Registered, great pedigree. Approx 15.2 H. She is a super sweet, in your pocket mare, will come right up to hang out with you. Been ridden in arenas and on trails, crosses water, steady and not spooky. Stands great for the farrier. Low in the pecking order, easy on fences. no health issues at all. Very solidly broke little mare. That being said, she has vices! This mare has been passed around a lot and is very skeptical and anxious. She loves to hang out and wants to connect but has a very hard time trusting. I could never describe her as willing to please. When she gets overwhelmed, she will act out. She will crow hop or kick out. She is NOT trying to unseat her rider, she is trying the only way she knows how to signal that she is overwhelmed or worried. She is super sensitive and requires a light hand and "tuned in" rider. She gets frustrated if she doesn't understand what you are asking her. Needs calm, patient, experienced home. Preferable with natural horsemanship experience. Familiarity with Warwick Schiller a plus. She is calm, happy, and forward on the trails, but does not like arena work. Does not do well in a stall, open pasture with a run in preferred. Shows signs of being heavily spurred, over bitted, and treated roughly. That being said, she is not green at all, fully trained, great on the tails, and is going to be someone's dream horse. She just needs consistency and patience. She is currently in a treeless saddle and bosal, and you must be comfortable using a bosal or bitless bridle. She remains in training, and If I can't find the perfect match, she has a soft landing here. Thank you for looking.
