KJM Lights Ta Heaven 2022 Sorrel Stud Colt

"Lightning" is a 2022 sorrel stud colt by Bedergo Ta Heaven, a son of JL Dash to Heaven. JL Dash to Heaven is a $3.5 million stallion with progeny making a significant impact in the futurity and barrel racing arenas. Bedergo Ta Heaven, out of the outstanding barrel mare She Bedergo, helped Sabrina Lay achieve the 2004 WPRA Rookie of the Year title and numerous other victories. Lightning’s foals will be eligible for more incentives as they reach the competition age.

Lightning is out of Juno Dat Playboy, who never competed due to circumstances beyond her control but was minimally run on brush tracks. Her oldest foal is currently excelling in Indian relays at various distances. Juno’s maternal brother is a successful 1D barrel and pole horse, while her paternal half-sister is also a 1D barrel horse with a standout futurity year and accomplishments in college rodeos and breakaway roping.

This colt is my favorite cross; he is the third full sibling I have raised, with a fourth expected in the spring. Due to personal commitments, Lightning deserves to be someone's top prospect. His oldest full sibling demonstrated intelligence and eagerness to please, traits also seen in his maternal half-sibling. Lightning has 30 days of riding and will be easy to continue with.

Note: Lightning is slightly toed out in the front, which does not affect his soundness. He also has some cosmetic blemishes from running through a fence earlier this spring. I am happy to provide more information and answer any questions.
