Chip 2015, 16 hand Thoroughbred gelding with low miles. Chip was lightly raced and finished that career in 2020. He retired sound and then spent the next 2.5 years living with 20 other horses in a 400 acre pasture. He was then restarted late last year. Chip is such a kind horse. There just isn't a mean bone in his body. He has wonderful ground manners, comfortable gaits with a great mouth, no health issues and a bright future ahead of him. He has already been to several schooling dressage shows and schooling events. He is game for cross country and has no issues with water, ditches or banks. He's schooled lots of beginner novice and a few novice fences. With just several months of being back in work he is still developing those big collection and sitting muscles, but he has a wonderful attitude towards work and tries his heart out. He will jump whatever you put in front of him. He has the rhythm and quiet demeanor to excel in a hunter/jumper ring and he has the bravery to be a lovely lower level event horse. He is quiet enough that a good riding kid or AA could absolutely take the reins on this one. Even though he will softly trot around small courses he has shown us that there is alot of scope in there to tap into later. I can't say enough good things about him! Currently barefoot. Lives well with other horses in pasture and can peacefully hang out in a stall. Chip has been in professional training for just over a month after being restarted by a wonderful AA rider. He is so ready for his person! Waco, Texas
