Savannah is looking for her next adventuring partner! If you are a rider on a budget that enjoys a forward ride, Savannah may be a great option for you. She is a comfortable, sweeping mover that would enjoy a job doing things like endurance or gymkhana or just spending time with someone that likes forward motion! This fancy girl does best with some regularity in her riding and work schedule to be her best self. An ideal day for her would be round pen work through the gaits to stretch out. Under saddle, collected maneuvers are best achieved after moving forward and trotting or loping out. She benefits from changes of bend and spiral circles to soften over the back. She does best working into the hand on contact and then being put on a looser rein later on in her sessions. Savannah was vaccinated and wormed this past spring. She just had a dental in July. She has a huge heart girth, great bone and big feet. She was built to be a usin' horse! She did have some soft tissue swelling this past spring from bouncing around on a hill side on her free time, but was seen by the vet, and brought back to work without issue. She is currently sound at all gaits and ready to go. Savannah can be a little buddy sour, which is best dealt with by giving her a job and something to think about and a job to do. Buddy sour meaning she walks in a squiggly line when she leaves the pasture and looks back to her friend. She may whinny some or stand sideways at the rail looking towards the pasture. She isn't a complete distracted airhead, she just needs someone to give her something to think about. She is great to clip, trailer load, catch and is good to tie with no pulling back. I am riding more horses a day right now than I care to admit. At the end of the day I am tired and giving this girl the time she needs just isn't happening right now. She has a lot of good miles and life experience, isn't crazy or stupid, she is just a horse that likes a little more stimulation. Don't let the dollar signs fool you, this is a good horse for someone with a little extra time and energy. That just isn't me right now. My loss, your gain.
