Star is great on trails. She is a VERY confident lead horse or under harness! Star will lead or follow and will split from a group out on trails as we often ask her to. Will go anywhere we point her, even up a mountain!
Star is also VERY traffic safe! Highway traffic safe! 65-70 MPH traffic doesn't bother her in anyway, even semi trucks and trailers can pass her at high speed and she doesn't care.
She's also quite athletic for a Clydesdale and would be a great jumping prospect and can easily do more athletic hobbies such as arena events or possibly Dressage. She definitely has the flare and flash. Would be an amazing English prospect!
Star is smart and learns quick and is willing to try new things, likes to explore and is a quick study for new things asked of her! She truly is a rising 🌟 Star!
Extremely gentle on the ground, kids can do anything around her, she loves kids grooming her, she's careful and sweet with children! We've given some lessons with her riding and driving, could possibly be a great fit for a therapy program since she doesn't care what you do around her or on her back. However, when you kiss or kick, she's responsive and will walk, trot & lope without hesitation, when asked!
Current on vaccines, hoof care, regular de-worming regiment, current coggins, and regular hoof care. Good for the farrier, no stalks needed.
Star also: Loads great, hauls quiet, clips, ties (reg. Or in cross ties), is free hand hot shod and trimmed (we don't put her in shoeing stalks).
Is regularly around cattle, deer, sheep, chickens and goats.
Loves attention, affection and easy to catch, even on large acerage! She's a very sweet girl.
Star is great in a herd setting/socialized, currently turned out with others. Does great. Has never given any trouble.
