Winston is coming off of a lease and looking for his next rider.

18 year old APHA flashy palomino paint gelding has shown at dressage schooling shows and western dressage for the last 5 years. Has shown at schooling shows through first level with a young rider. Attended a rated western dressage show this June at Basic Level with scores into the 70s.
Knows some lateral movements: shoulder fore, shoulder in, leg yields, turn on fores hand, pivot, side pass and rein back. He is a counter canter machine.
Prior to that he was an open show / pleasure gelding, and can go low and slow but has not been worked that way for 5 years.

He is not going to be a kids rodeo horse and prefers some (lots) stall time. He is not a hunter/jumper.

He has been a lesson horse for me for the past 5 years, and prefers an Intermediate or better rider (balanced, knows posting diagonals). Comfortable walk-trot-canter, some maintenence required. Prefers a confident rider as he doesn't want to have to be the one in charge.
