Meet Claira! Claira is a 13.3hh (approximately) grade POA. For the past year and a half, Claira has been part of a daily lesson program with kids as young as 2. Claira rides in group lessons and individual lessons. She has been ridden in gymkhana patterns and over small cross jumps (NOT a jumping lesson horse! Just for fun). She has taken numerous kiddos out on trail rides, passing animals such as llamas, cows (which she LOVES), pigs, goats, etc. At her previous home, she was kept in a field with goats, and loved to chase them. She is the first to greet you at the fence and loves all of the attention she can get, but is not pushy. Claira is safe all around, but could use some extra help in her canter as she only canters very rarely with students (for the reason I have other horses more qualified to teach the kiddos to canter). I have many many videos, but she has no fear with water, crossing moving teeter totters, bridges, indoor arenas. She will hop into any trailer with no problem. Easy for all ferriers and vets. Take her through obstacle courses, or up to a food truck (have a video of this haha). Claira typically does a lot of lessons involving walking, but with some students light trotting. Claira is not fancy trained, but she sure is fancy! With the right rider, she would make someone a killer horse as she too is able to go from a walk to a canter or sometimes a hault to a canter. She would excel at most anything. I am not a cow person, but based on what I've seen, she would love to chase some cows. She has some speed when you ask her to really move, which would make her a good rodeo horse, and with the right person, she would make a great jumper. Claira rides bareback, with a snaffle bit, halter, and bitless bridle.
