Anya has been my personal horse for the past three years. As a trainer I bought her to start as a three year old and eventually resale. The problem is she is so special I have held on to her longer than most projects.
I have carefully brought her along under saddle. She is so quiet she has been used as the baby sitter horse for taking out youngsters. We spent last summer regularly trailering to friends farms to trail ride. We also did a fun obstacle day. This summer I started taking Dressage lessons on her. I have some low jumps on the fields edges we have cantered over for fun, but no offical jump training.
Recently we began driving which was my original goal for her. She picked it up easily as I had dragged out her training over a couple years before actully hitching her. By the end of August she will have a CDE under her belt.
Anya is very honest because she gives back what you put in. She makes you be a better rider/driver. If you just plan to sit there and want a ride she won't comply. I have never felt safer out on the trail or fields than any other horse. We will gallop aroung the fields so I can relive my youth!
Anya is sweet and affectionate. A good soul.
