Dolly is a gorgeous mare with all the buttons! She was trained as a reiner and has an easy lead change, turns around nicely, and has a perfect neck rein. She has been shown at stock horse shows, in 4-H and OHSET, and at team sorting events. At fair this year we got blue champion in every class except showmanship, and qualified for ranch horse state; and in OHSET we qualified for regionals. Dolly has been trail ridden in the mountains, crosses water, has been exposed to tractors and trains, packs a flag, has been around mini donkeys and dogs, and loves to work a cow. New arenas don’t phase her and she is not spooky. She doesn’t need to be ridden hard before being shown. Dolly has taught me so, so much and is very fun to ride. I am only selling her because I want to get into the cowhorse stuff and I need a younger horse; I bought her for OHSET and now that I’m graduating I’m ready to specialize a little more.
This girl tries so hard and is very special to me! A great home is a must. She does have some maintenance for her hocks; that’s why she’s priced lower.
