11year old mare I’ve had since day she was born. I trained her to ride when she was 2 and rode her around home and hauled to some barrel races just to see the sites and ride around there until she was 3 years old. And has been in pasture since then bc she was too short a horse for me to ride. She didn’t actually grow/fill out until she was about 6 years old. Her mom stepped on her front left leg when she was few months old and stretched her ligaments/tendons so she developed straighter angle on that hoof due to it. When she was 4 months old we started corrective shoeing with her and her foot went back to almost normal with shoes. She wasn’t growing very tall so when she was year and a half I stopped getting her corrective shoeing and just started trimming her so she’s been barefoot since so after she was without the shoes her angle went back to where it was before started corrective shoeing. I have no idea if the angle could be corrected again with corrective shoeing or not, that would be I guess question for farrier. I just saw no point in spending the money for the corrective shoeing for a pasture horse. She rode fine when I had ridden her when she was 2-3years old. Had friends kids get on her and ride her around the pastures etc. she loves people and loves attention. But since she wasn’t tall enough for me I decided to just put her in pasture and stop riding her and work on my other horses that were over 15hands. I’ve never bred her but she may make a good broodmare with her bloodlines. She would also be a good horse for kids to just play with. If someone wanted to ride her again trail ride etc she would probably love that. She loves being around people. She is registered with AQHA. I wanted to breed her I just can’t afford to. Due to unexpected emergency expenses I have to sell to pay off bills. Make offer no reasonable offer will be turned down.
