June is a 15.3h, 10yo AQHA mare looking for her next adventure. She loves being outside and would excel as a trail and endurance horse. She leads out confidently and really covers ground. She is suitable for advanced beginners and above outside. In the arena she has some anxiety from being rushed through training with previous owners. She has come a long way but still gets nervous and rushes in the canter. She is pretty solid walk/trot currently and would be cute English if someone chose to continue to help her overcome her struggles. In the arena she needs a confident intermediate or above rider that understands sensitive horses to really develop her into the talented horse she has the potential to be.

June is only for sale because I am in OHSET and would like a horse to do sorting and timed events with. June does not enjoy the pressure of that job and I would like her to find a home where she is happy and appreciated for who she is. June is a KIND mare that isn’t “mareish” or hormonal. She stands great for the vet and farrier, doesn’t love baths but will stand for everything including her face being rinsed, she can be slow to load but does so politely and backs out when asked. She is a pleasure to have around but we both need a partner that wants to thrive in our respective areas and that is the only reason she is available at this time. She passed a PPE last November and is UTD on all heathcare.
