Beautiful four-gaited 18-year-old Icelandic mare who still has plenty of go left in her. Has the silver dapple gene and a red dun dorsal stripe. Kallie has ridden both English and Western (currently riding English) and was a 4-H horse for four years. Has show experience - dressage, hunt seat equitation, jumping up to 2'0", and working equitation, and also enjoys trail riding. Has been in training to perfect her tölt, and can stay in tölt consistently. Good ground manners (although she'll try to sneak a bite of grass if you're not paying attention), stands for the farrier, loads and trailers well. No kick or bite. Kallie has a friendly temperament and responds to cues well. She is not a beginner horse- she will sometimes test new riders and requires a partner with intermediate skills. Selling her because her rider will be doing study abroad and then going to college. Kallie has been a wonderful part of our family, and it's time for her to have a new partner.
