"Hendrix" is 50% Friesian (sire) and 50% thoroughbred (dam). He is not registered, but can be registered as a Friesian Sporthorse as both the sire and dam are registered, and I do have a signed slip from his sire's owner to register him. I just haven't ever sent the papers off as I wasn't in any rush as I planned to keep him and he's young but I always figured i'd register him "For The Love Of Hendrix" as I own his dam and her's is "Makin Mo Love", but obviously the buyer can do whatever they choose with his name. I'm not a breeder, I just bred my Ottb to a Friesian in hopes to do eventing with her foal, and he checks every box i'd ever want him to, but i had a bad car accident in the mean time and broke my back, ect. and I can't do as much as I used to, or as much as I'd like to and it only makes sense to rehome him to someone better equipped than I am. I will only let him go to a great home as I'm not desperate to sell and my few horses mean a lot to me. Hendrix is approximately 17 months old. He is gelded. UTD on all shots, coggins, worming, etc. He has been taken excellent care of since birth. He stands well for a farrier, I get his hooves trimmed every 6-8 weeks, he has beautiful hooves. I've body clipped him twice to help with the heat and he didn't mind it at all. He loads well, stands tied well, very easy to catch. He leads great, I taught him to lunge minimally, careful to not mess with his growing, but he will lunge at a trot large circles well for a few mins and square up great when asked to whoah. I'd guess that he is around 14.2 HH, his sire is 15.2 and his dam is 16.2. He is such a lovely athletic young one. Beautiful movement. I have lots of pictures and videos if you're interested in him. Serious inquiries only please. please call or text me, whatever suits you best. Hendrix will be rehired along with his winter blanket, halter and lead rope, and of course his transfer slip to register him and his coggins if you'd like. I'm located in Northeast Ks. but am willing to meet or discuss options with you if you aren't local.
