Midge is a beautiful and loving paint pony! She's a Haflinger/Draft pony we purchased from Hershberger Farms in Ohio (she was named Tammy there). When we purchased her a 12 year old girl was riding her. She did great riding around their market and wasn't bothered by the cars or dogs. She also rode her through the field, up and down hills and through the creek. She's been off for almost two years while she was expecting and warmed her beautiful baby, so I would give her a tune up unless it's an experienced older child or small adult. I did have someone come out to evaluate her and they were very impressed for how she did with that amount of time off. She had great manners while being tacked up. She stood still to mount and dismount. She walked off when asked and her only issue was when she was asked to canter. She did do it, although with a little protest at first but it was nothing major. She's also been a great mother and has beautiful babies! She was bred to a registered Gypsy Vanner when we purchased her and we have her baby who is a beautiful, registered Gypsy Vanner Sport horse who turned 1 in May. Call or text if you would like to see videos, more pics, or set up a time to come and meet her.***UPDATE*** I sent Midge to Wranglers camp this week with a friend. She said she did fantastic! Great with the farrier, great being stalled and great on the trail!! She went through creeks, ditches, up and down hills and crossed logs. She did a 3 mile trail by herself and other trails with other horses, her husband even rode her around camp bareback! Apparently being off for 2 years hasn't phased her much at all!😊
