6yo Missouri Fox Trotter mare for Sale Sedona, Missouri bred, raised in hilly terrain, started lightly as a late 3yo, trail ridden in the Sierra each summer from age 4-6. Never allowed to graze in a bridle, taught to stand still for mounting, ridden on all kinds of trails and along roads. 14.2 hands, never mare-ish, super smooth, daughter of a Reserve World Champion dam, feet hard as diamonds (the only horse I don’t shoe), walks slow behind non-gaited horses or hammers at 4-5 mph forever, loads easily, stands still for mounting. Flat footed walk, running walk, fox trot, straight trot and started on a canter. Clever, can untie knots, loves attention. Not for a beginner -- she is easy to ride (no spin/buck/dropped shoulder ever -- she just scoots forward a few strides when she is startled) but full of energy, has a great motor. Great endurance or NATRC horse. Will go past or through anything, water, bridges, machinery; not ignoring it like a police horse, but she goes where you ask her to. I am looking for the right home -- regular trail riding, turnout, kind rider. I have two horses and just enough time to ride one, so looking to sell her but not in a hurry. more info: https://sites.google.com/view/mft-trail-master/sedona?authuser=0 brief video of how smooth she is: https://youtu.be/Mg_42cRhG5A
