**For Sale: Your Future Best Friend—A Majestic Clydesdale/TB Cross** Meet Riot, an 8-year-old Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross born in March 2016. This dashing gentleman stands at a whopping 17 hands. Located in Fairfax, VT, this guy is ready to sweep you off your feet—literally, if you’re not paying attention. This flashy big boy has foxhunted with Green Mountain Hounds. He’s been out in second field as well as first field multiple times. He rides and hunts in a snaffle with flash—because he’s stylish like that—and has three comfortable gaits and a jump that says, “was that 3’ oxer a cavalleti?” Whether you're feeling brave or just want to take it easy, he’s got plenty of room to go as big or as mellow as you want. He’s got more trail miles under his belt than your favorite road trip playlist and absolutely LOVES water. Seriously, if he could be a fish, he would. He’s the same laid-back dude whether you ride him every day or forget he exists for half the year. No buddy drama here—he’s cool being a lone ranger or hanging out with the crew. He’s just as happy living out 24/7 or being in a cozy stall at night…probably dreaming of becoming the next Sherlock Hooves. Separating from the group? Not a problem. He might even suggest that they needed some space anyway. He stands for the farrier, clipping, vetting, and baths like he’s at a day spa. Did I mention he’s the same horse every time? Because he is. (Yes, I repeated that twice—he’s just that consistent.) He’s up-to-date on all his shots and checkups, and while he’s never needed shoes, he’s open to the idea of some stylish front ones if you’re hitting the dirt roads often. You know, just to keep his feet looking as fabulous as he does. This guy is talented enough to make seasoned riders look even better and kind enough to carry beginners around like they’ve been riding forever. He’s an easy keeper—just throw him a winter blanket, some mineral balancer, and hay, and he’s good to go. No fuss, no drama, just pure equine awesomeness. I’ve got RADs from 2020 of his front feet (because who doesn’t want foot selfies?), and you’re welcome to do a PPE at your expense. Come meet him in person and see how amazing he is. Seriously, he’s a unicorn in disguise, and we’ll probably cry when he leaves, but hey, we want him to go to the best home. No trials, leases, or trades—he’s a one-of-a-kind deal. Come try him out in Fairfax, VT, before I decide to be financially irresponsible and never let him go. P.S. He’s already practicing his majestic gallop for your grand entrance!
