Snap Happy (aka Howie) is the perfect size, age, and temperament for a teen or an adult amateur to take on to fulfill all their horse career goals. This extremely well brained 4 yr old Hanovarian gelding is ready for the next step in his career. Standing at 15.2 hh he is the perfect height for someone who wants to enjoy showing but also enjoy a relaxing trail ride.

Howie has had about 15 rides and been brought along slow and consistent allowing for correct muscle development appropriate for his age. He has never offered to buck, bolt, or rear whether it be in an arena, over fences, or out on the trail. He has an amazingly smooth, ground covering walk, trot, and canter! He is starting to learn the beginnings of accepting contact and moving off of leg pressure. He is extremely smart and we are building his confidence over small fences both on the ground and under saddle.

Howie is a true gentleman to be around. He currently lives outside 24/7 with mares and geldings sitting comfortably in the middle of the herd and loves to greet us in the pasture. He stands tied for grooming and tacking, bathing, the farrier, and the vet. Currently barefoot with zero soundness issues. Disclaimer: he is ever so slightly club footed on his FR. He is learning about clippers and does great for his muzzle and poll but is still unsure about his ears. With how quickly he has come along in two months I am confident he will be an exceptional show horse and bring delight to who brings him along the rest of his career.
