This mares papers are loaded, Judge Cash, Beda Change, Murrtheblurr.. Velvet is a phenomenal athlete but very sensitive and high strung that will loose it mentally when any pressure is put on her.
She is a finished barrel horse that ran in the 1D a handful of times and ran mid 18s on a standard. She has not been ran for a few years. We have videos of her running and what she will do under pressure. She is never dangerous, just very hot. She is awesome to ride at home, can go out on the trails, ride in the arena, lope around poles, can even ride her bridleless.
She was vetted about 2 years ago and was diagnosed with kissing spine via x-ray images. They did injections and determined that’s not the reason for her behavior and believes it is all mental. This mare has not bucked under saddle before or after kissing spine was found.
Hauls well, although she won’t back out of the trailer, stands for the farrier, up to date on vaccines, trims and dental.
