Maximus is a huge lovable goofball, eager to please, kind and SAFE. He has more woah than go and is green to jumping but is careful and has easily cleared 0.80 meter jump courses and has 1 meter potential. We think he would also enjoy dressage.
He stands well for the vet and farrier, stands in ties and crossties, loads well, gets along with mares and geldings and is not buddy sour.
Maximus flourishes with consistency. He was very difficult to catch in the field when we first bought him but now he is usually waiting at the gate for us. However, when my daughter is not able to come to see him regularly, he can be difficult for her to catch.
We are selling him because my daughter simply does not have the time with her busy college schedule to invest in him, but we love him very much and a great home is priority.
