Remington LHJ “Remy” 6y/o, 13.2hh, grade gelding - little pony, BIG personality! Remy has a big personality and loves to work. He has quickly become a barn favorite everywhere he goes. He is still green and benefits from a quiet rider who will give him confidence. If his rider is brave, he is a war horse. He has been in professional training at an eventing barn for the last year, has been schooling and showing with kids and adults from cross-rails to beginner novice (2’7”). He needs more work on his lead changes. He travels well, settles in at shows easily, and is confident in the show ring with minimal prep. Remy is incredibly smart, learns quickly, and has a lot of try. He’s a big fan of having his own person and a routine, but also loves to go on adventures. Remy was started western and has been exposed to cows, trails, and rodeo atmospheres. He seems to prefer jumping and has plenty of scope for the rated pony jumpers with the right rider. He would excel with a confident kid in a program or a small adult/teen looking to develop a nice pony. Once he has his lead changes, he could easily go in all 3 rings. Remy’s only quirk is that he can be a little sensitive to a whip/crop as he was beaten as a colt. He is safe on the ground and under saddle, and wants to please. Remy is a solid pony who is sound, no maintenance required, currently in front shoes due to the dry desert of Arizona, stands for the vet and farrier, UTD on dental, vaccines, worming, and coggins. Open to creative opportunities to get a well-deserving kid some pony show miles. Currently located in Phoenix, AZ.
