Maverick is a 3 year old gelding who has the foundation to go in any direction. He’s been showing all his life and adapts easily! Would make a great all around horse! The video speaks for itself!
Maverick would be the perfect partner for somebody wanting to continue showing, especially in the ranch or performance classes. He participated in showmanship, halter, lunge-line, and in-hand trail events before he was saddle broke, so he has all the buttons on the ground and in the saddle; side pass, turn on forehand & haunches, back, departures & transitions, stop, and more!
Some of his winnings include: Reserve Champion in his two year old and three year old futurity at the Montgomery County Fair in 2023 and 2024, 1st place in AQHA 3 year old geldings at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2024, Champion in showmanship at the Lake Creek FFA Progress Show, and Champion at the Lone Star Riding School Ranch Show in the walk trot division in 2023.
His versatility extends to trail riding; whether it’s on the road, beach, or in the forest, Maverick’s done it all! He loads, ties, stands for the farrier, and has experience in both English and Western riding. He’s even been introduced to jumping! He will do anything you ask of him without hesitation!
