Kizzie is an 8yr 16.0h mare who had 37 starts before retiring. She did have surgery on both front ankles at Mid-Atlantic to have villonodular synovitis and bone chips removed. Surgeon at Mid-Atlantic was able to remove everything successfully and reported she will not have any career limitations.
Kizzie is currently barefoot and sound. She can be a little mare-ish while being groomed (tail swishes when she gets curried) but otherwise she is lovely to be around. No Vices, can be turned out alone or in a small group. Kizzie stands on cross ties for grooming, bathing and farrier. Loads on/off of my trailer easily. Kizzie is ready for a new career! PPE’s welcome at buyers’ expense.
