Gorgeous BIG bodied Belgian Quarter horse cross. She is 15.1 hands 1100 lbs.
Berti is easy to catch, saddle, tie, bridle, load, wash, lunge, trailers, ponies and leads! She is very comfortable in all gaits and has a nice forward movement!
Not spooky, has been desensitized and can wear an umbrella as a hat, been ridden thru homemade obstacle course and does great!
Berti is a FANTASTIC mountain horse! If you are looking for a BIG bodied mountain horse that doesn’t tucker out right away but walks confidently and doesn’t run out of gas this is your gal! She is sure footed and excellent at new environments, has been ridden up serious incline, steep ridges, water, tight / hairy trees thru the forest and more! Leads or follows, doesn’t care about 5 big dogs running in and out of the trees. Wears saddle bags with ease, this girl doesn’t care about much! Berti is best suited for an intermediate rider do to her size and her forward mentality, she isn’t a dead head whom you have to kick kick kick to enjoy your mountain adventures!
