Meet Pluto, AKA Shining C Smoke. He is 3 years old and ready to become the most phenomenal partner you’ve ever had. He’s an Appaloosa Quarter Horse, about 15.2 hands and very sweet. He’s never kicked, bitten, or bucked in the entire time I’ve had him. He is the perfect size for barrel or roping, but could go in any direction!
Pluto recently returned from being professionally started under saddle from High Country Training in Ellensburg Washington, so he has a very solid base. I have had Pluto since he was 7 months old, and he is a people lover! He is willing to do anything asked of him, and has already started to figure out neck reigning. Responds great to leg pressure! He’s lived in a stall his entire life, but does love to go out and run. He is not shoed at recommendation of the Ferrier due to his age, but has had his feet trimmed.
Due to recent medical issues, I have been told I cannot ride, and after putting this much time, effort, and money into getting him going, it would be a tragedy to have it all end now.
Pluto is registered through the Appaloosa Horse Club. Records can be provided upon request. Pluto was gelded at 2 years of age, and has mellowed out quite a bit since. I have a mix of pictures and videos also available on request!
