Elouise is a very sweet Fjord mare. She is purebred but unfortunately she didnt arrive with her papers. I purchased her to potentially become a lesson horse but I believe she wants her own family and would thrive with one person. Elouise was started late in life and primarily did natural horsemanship in a round pen. She is part of a dressage program now and is green wtc under saddle. She is very smooth and is on the more forward side but doesnt always understand aids yet and does require leg/assurance. She has good ground manners, great for the farrier, stands on cross ties, easy to catch etc. She will tolerate being stalled but is happier with a run in situation. She is very sweet and people oriented. She is the first one to greet you at the gate and always wants attention. She has learned her fundamentals in the year we have owned her and I feel has the potential to go in any direction. While her ground manners are very good I feel she would become pushy in the wrong hands. She is a draft pony. She does prefer a leader type of handler and takes confidence from her humans. I dont consider her a beginner horse yet and feel she needs someone with experience and preferably experienced with Fjords. I will be sad to see this one go. She is a gem and loved to be cuddled. Sound and never been ill. Currently selling as a project type with a good start. **She has no trail experience** and is unsure outside of the arena. Could be brought along by a person experienced with introducing horses to outside stimuli. https://youtu.be/_ldaLR2jOoo?si=YIcUROPyKiRgac9x
