Ragen is a 2004 Oldenburg-approved filly by Ridley. Ridley is a son of Rotspon (Rubenstein I). Ridley's size makes him an attractive option for riders who are looking for something a little smaller. Ridley successfully competed in-hand, including several Grand Championships. As a two year-old and four year-old he was champion of his IBC class at Dressage at Devon with scores in the 80's. He was Reserve Champion at First Level Horse for Region 1 finals. The following year he qualified for GAIGs and BLM's at Third Level with scores in the mid-70's. In 2009 Ridley had scores in the 70's at Fourth Level. Competing at PSG in 2010 he qualified for Regional Finals with scores in the 60's. His progeny are easy-going and uncomplicated and easy to start. There are currently four total Ridley offspring residing at AMS. The Dastardly Pony (Rico) was acquired by Allison as a project, but upon seeing his natural athletic personality and experiencing his awesome personality, she decided to keep him and took things a step further by using Ridley as her stallion of choice for three other breedings, including the one that has produced Ragen. Ragen also has a three year-old brother who is getting ready to be started under saddle and a full older sister who is two. Ragen. like her siblings, is the most laid-back filly you will find. She is inquisitive and very friendly. She loves to be with people and will walk up to you in the paddock. She has the most perfect conformation you will see, receiving an 8 on it at her inspections. Ragen is incredibly light on her feet - she barely touches the ground and is uphill. Her dam is an exceptionally correct Thoroughbred mare who is in the Main Mare book and passes on her natural athleticism. Ragen is quiet enough for an adult amateur but talented enough for a professional. She will be easy and workmanlike and will have success in both the Dressage and jumping rings - she could go anyway her rider wants. She is reasonably priced at $12,000 but negotiable to the perfect home. References required.
