I’ve had Twinkie for a little over a year and a half. My plan was to turn her into my next barrel horse but shortly after purchasing her I went into a fire academy and didn’t have enough time to be consistent with her. She is not competitive, but she’ll do what she’s asked just never in a hurry.
She has a puppy dog personality and will be the first to meet you at the gate. Super gentle. 🥰
Zero vet maintenance. Shoes on, chiropractor work, teeth floated – regularly. 📝
While in fire academy she spent time at my friend’s facility, Wind and Rein arena being rode 3-5 times a week.
I’ve hauled her a few places but I’m not really into racing every weekend which makes it hard to season her.
I’m looking for something finished that I can ride during the week but get on and actually run once or twice a month.
