Fury is an excellent horse. I bought him as a project to further my knowledge in the training and jumping world with a horse that was green to it. Now that it comes time to list him I will say it will be hard to see him go.
This horse has incredible try and aims to please whom he’s bonded with.
This horse was started for dressage by the owner that bred him but his brain was made for action, so when we moved him into the Hunter / Jumper world he thrived. 2024 was his first year showing in the NIHJA circuit. He was shown pre green in 2’, 2’3, and 2’6 Hunter Jumper and Equitation. He has a canter that one can only dream of with these big boys, like riding a cloud. Lead changes. Does not refuse fences. He free and line lunges.
This horse has been shown by a total amateur and professionals. He just needs a confident rider but can be at any skill level. This horse should have a rider looking to advance higher in the jumping world. With his height and will has the ability to go very far with someone that can show him calmly that he can do it. This horse does not learn from hard pressure but consistent reassurance and will make those lessons last. I would hope to put him with someone that has a patient training mentality and looking to learn from a horse.
This horse is sound and has no history of injury. He has had two owners that have been in his life since birth. He is pasture kept, an easy keeper and barefoot all his life. Plays well with others. Very good with dogs and other farm animals. Will allow anyone on his back saddled up or bareback.
