Shorty is a gorgeous 2014 rare Champagne QH Gelding that stands 14.2 hh and is the sweetest guy around. He is the gentleman gelding that anyone can ride and feel safe on. Whether your in the arena or out camping or trail riding- Shorty will accommodate willingly. He loves to be ridden, bathed, and in general just loves all of your attention. He has excellent ground manners, has sensory training, and is safe all of the time. Shorty is a "meet and greet" you type of guy and will follow you all over. In the arena, he picks up leads, is smooth, and has a nice stop. He side passes, moves off of leg, and neck reins. He rides Western & English and is fun to ride bridle less.
On trail, he rides out alone and away from the barn with no issues, rides in groups, camping trips (highland, hobble, portable pens), loves water, and rides quietly amongst traffic.
He has been used extensively on the ranch and is accustomed to all aspects of ranch work, including branding, doctoring, sorting pens, loading trucks, etc. He opens/closes gates with ease, is quiet around the cattle, and is a true Gentleman/Ladies ranch horse.
