He is not only personable and affectionate, he has an incredible amount of training and experience under his belt. This exceptional 8 year old gelding has been trail ridden all across Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia, by both novice and experienced riders as young as 5 years old. Nightshade is ready to take on the toughest of trails and water or the easiest of rides. He does well in any order of groups; leading the pack, in the middle or the back. He has an incredibly smooth gait and lope. His smart, sensible, patient, and respectful nature makes him a pleasure to have around, both on the ground and in the saddle. Nightshade has no issue riding bareback or double if needed. He stands quietly for grooming, saddling and bathing. He’s no stranger to highway traffic as well.
