Summit is 24 years young. The last 10 years of his life he had been spoiled in semi- retirement, so his joints and health have many miles left! He is quirky and not for a beginner, though he is a finished reining horse and is literally like driving a Ferrari! Extremely sensitive, lots of go and always looking for the next ask. He has easy beautiful lead changes and can easily change every other stride in a straight line. Stop, spin, roll back. He is looking for his forever home with someone who will love learning from him, but also dote on him and give him the home he deserves. We simply just do not have time for him and it’s a shame to let him go to waste. He is not for a beginner- he is extremely sensitive to the aids and still has lots of go, but adores his people and affection. His quirks are: Requires sedation for the left hind to be shawd. This is probably due to an old scar on his left hock. If he knows you well you can trim it without issue. -Can be tricky to catch- must bring treats and then he feels you’ve earned it! ;) -He will jig on trail rides if he gets anxious or feels he’s being left behind. He is fine in the front. A home with pasture will be a requirement- he means the world to us! Please call or txt Christie at 307-703-5258.
