Chicago is a 12-year-old black Quarter Horse gelding standing at 15.2 hands, and he is as stunning as they come!
Originally competed as a Reiner in Texas, Chicago has a beautiful sliding stop, a quick spin and rollback, and an exceptionally smooth jog and lope. Since then, he has participated in local Western pleasure classes and taken care of lesson kiddos out on the trails.
Chicago also has plenty of power and responsiveness, making him a potential star in speed events, breakaways, or calf tying.
This past summer, Chicago was used as a trail and mountain horse. He has navigated the hustle and bustle of downtown Fort Collins and tackled steep terrain, demonstrating his surefootedness and intelligence.
Not only is Chicago one of the fanciest movers around, but he also has the brain and athleticism to excel in any direction you choose, take care of younger kiddos, or compete with more advanced riders as a step-up horse.
