This guy is amazing! He is big and pretty, with a fantastic personality. He is so sweet, in your pocket and just wants love. He is super quiet, trailers like a dream, stands for the farrier (is shod but can go barefoot), he gets along with others, not spooky, you name it. He rides out alone or in a group, down the street, has done obstacle challenges, trail riding, carries a flag…. Nothing phases this guy. His lope is so incredibly smooth! It’s like riding a cloud. His trot …it’s big! One you want to post if I’m being honest! He tries hard and aims to please. Watch his video or come see him for yourself. He did a trial with the San Francisco mounted unit and they LOVED him. They said he did everything they asked and was a total superstar. The problem? He has mild kissing spine. We have the work up and X-rays. His back looks good now, no vertebrae are touching but it shows they did in the past. He has been in consistent work the last 11 months or so. He doesn’t seem to have any issues stemming from his back but because the mounted unit is on the concrete in the city, they didn’t want him to become uncomfortable. He is amazing on the trail and would love to trail ride and camp. He does not have a big work ethic, so performance work wouldn’t be his jam. He has been ranch sorting and is great with the cows. So trail riding, camping, cattle sorting and being loved on would make him very happy. We love this guy and hope to find his forever person. He is wonderful and deserves it!
