Sherlock (Jockey Club Nucky) is a bay, 16.1 thoroughbred gelding. He is an athletic horse with a lot of presence, three good, clear paces, holds his own rhythm and has an athletic jump. He has an impressive pedigree and is a good looking horse. He had been restarted off the track by a professional rider and brought to Novice with them (unsanctioned in Aiken) and then bought by a junior. He’s been doing a bit of starter level with her but she is no longer riding much so he is looking for a new home. I can see this horse doing a 2* easily in a program, or jumpers pretty quickly with the right rider in the right program. He is level headed—will play a bit if not ridden consistently but gives it up easily when in work. He is the type of horse that you can hop on bareback in a halter and canter in a field alone. No vices, stands well for farrier, bathing, grooming, etc. Videos: https://youtube.com/@rileyadams-z3f?si=hTpxUJ_a4gCpTpDD Located in Sheridan, Indiana
