You won’t ever be blue riding this handsome guy! Lucky is sired by the legendary Wimpys Little Step out of a Smart Little Lena/Peppy San Badger mare. When he was younger he was shown and has NRHA earnings in both open and youth reining. While he has all the finishing touches in the arena he spent the past 6 years as a family ranch/trail horse used by all levels of riders. He has gathered cattle, been trail ridden and done arena work etc. He is grandma/kid safe! This is the kind of gelding that anyone can ride both in the arena and out on the trails. He likes to take things slow and easy, has 3 very comfortable gaits and a relaxed way of going. He is sure footed over obstacles, can open and close gates, doesn’t mind riding with dogs, can ride alone or in groups. He has excellent ground manners, hauls well, good for the farrier etc and overall just a pleasure to be around. Lucky is really one of those dream geldings that don’t come around that often! Only reason he is for sale is his owner is getting out of horses.
